Kits are made of raw cedar, which is a soft wood and can be either nailed or
screwed together easily in a short period of time. Kits come with 1½" nails,
however, woodscrews can be used as a substitute. Also, kits can be purchased with
pre-drilled holes for an additional $1.95 to $4.95 per kit. As an option they can be sanded and painted but they come in raw form and they are not sanded in their kit form.
