Pipe-leg docks are suitable where there are hard bottoms in the lake. In muddy conditions,
where pipe legs will sink into the mud, their floating dock is an ideal alternative. The floating dock system uses slightly different brackets for mounting dock sections on floating
styrofoam billets.
They also sell several accessories including bumpers, cleats, anchoring systems, protective caps for the top of the legs, aluminum dock
ladders in several different sizes and dock bumpers. They also sell other types of boat landing systems that include those for personal watercraft, boats and hovercraft. They
are located in Bognor, Ontario, Canada (the Great Lakes area) and have been providing dock systems for over 11 years.

The dock hardware for one section of docking for the pipe-leg docking system would be approximately $200 plus the cost of the 2' x 6' wood planking. The floating dock system uses dock hardware that is similar in price but you also need to add the floatation devises that are 45-gallon drums filled with polyurethane foam at about $70 each.
