GAZEBO AND GARDEN HOUSE
KIT CATALOGS - KLIK HERE!
Gazebos and garden houses are some of the most popular kits KitGuy offers because they're relatively inexpensive and easy to construct. Plus, they add value to your property and dramatic sophistication to your landscaping; they're practical, functional and long-lasting.
These beautiful Classic or Victorian structures can be used as backyard getaways for private, weather-protected relaxing and entertaining; as poolside cabanas, personal studios or offices, information booths, bandstands, golf course retreats, smoking shelters and wedding chapels.
Gazebo and garden house kits come in cedar, yellow pine, vinyl and the relatively new and exceptionally beautiful stained glass packages! Shapes include octagons, rectangles, squares and ovals, ranging in size from 8 ft. to 20 ft. diameter. A wide variety of accessories and custom options is also available. The cupola is a very popular addition, with
a weathervane on top.
Before placing your order, think about what you want or need:
A modular (pre-fabricated) kit, or a knockdown model? (In modular designs, the floor and roof sections are pre-assembled. The knockdown kit is simply pre-cut and pre-drilled.)
A wooden floor, concrete slab or no flooring?
Asphalt shingle or cedar shake roof?
Turned or straight spindles?
Interior benches?
Screen window/door packages?
Electrical packages?

Most kit manufacturers provide detailed information to help you with style and size selection, site location and preparation, foundation and flooring options so you can plan the gazebo or garden house of your dreams! Be sure to check local zoning codes to see if a building permit is required for your property.
Kompleteness of Kits/Finishing: Most kits include everything you'll need, along with easy-to-follow instructions. Some kits include all of the nails and hardware for complete assembly. Flooring is usually an option. In all cases, finishing materials like paint, stain or sealers are extra.
Tools: Gazebos and garden houses are quickly assembled using traditional hand and power tools. You'll need a power source nearby. Also, consider your desire for electrical wiring and incorporate it into your plans.
Skill: In most cases, two people can easily assemble a gazebo or garden house in about two days. Some construction experience would be helpful, but it's certainly not a prerequisite. Site and foundation planning requires some special skills, but most kit manufacturers offer guidelines to help you in these areas.
Price Range: Prices range from $2,000 to around $18,000, depending on the style, size, construction materials and options you choose. In some cases, a 50% deposit is required when you order, with the balance due upon receipt of goods.
Shipping: Shipping is extra, ranging from $350 to $700. It's calculated from the kit manufacturer's location and completed by common carrier. The driver will call you prior to delivery.
