Pine specializes in spiral staircases that are milled out of solid wood--either durable Southern Yellow Pine, an
economical wood that combines a distinctive natural grain with superior
strength; traditional Red Oak, or other hardwood species of your choice.
Precision Pine has added two new styles to its collection of spiral stair
kits. The Contemporary and the Charleston join the
affordable Smart Spiral and the popular Traditional
stair. The Contemporary model has a distinctive wide handrail and
a round center column. The Charleston offers turned balusters and
newel posts for a classic look. Both come in Southern Yellow Pine and Red Oak.

Precision Pine's kits have been engineered so the average
do-it-yourselfer can assemble and install a stair. According to
Precision Pine, all parts required for the spiral stair installation are
supplied in the kits, including the top landing deck and the horizontal
rail system needed to exit the top landing. Matching rails for stair
openings and/or balcony edges are available as an option with all kits.
